The Wasatch Quad Plus is an advanced ESP32-based pixel controller designed to directly manage 4 LED pixel strings or strips while also supporting an additional 4 LED strings remotely through a differential connection and receiver. It features dual Ethernet and WiFi connectivity and includes built-in power distribution with standard Phoenix connectors for easy wiring. The controller is fully compatible with xLights and supports real-time light show data via WLED.

Power & Voltage Compatibility
Currently available as a 12V-only version, the board can also be used with 24V pixels since the voltage regulator and capacitor are rated for up to 25V. When using 24V pixels, it's advised to attach a small heat sink to the voltage regulator. For remote differential connections, the data signal can be configured for either 5V or 12V pixels, depending on the setup of the differential receiver.

Overview
The controller supports a wide range of LED pixels, including WS2812, WS2811, WS2815, and similar protocols. It’s built using the ESP32 WT32-ETH01 module paired with a custom HAT that converts 3.3V signals from the ESP32 to the 5V signals required by LED strips and strings. Pre-loaded with WLED software, it offers seamless control via Ethernet or WiFi using WLED apps on Android and iOS devices. It also supports E1.31 and DDP protocols, making it ideal for synchronized light shows managed through software like xLights, Vixen, or Falcon Player (FPP), without requiring any paid licenses.

This board includes 4 local outputs for directly controlling LED strings, along with 4 differential outputs that enable controlling additional LEDs up to 300 feet away using a compatible differential receiver. Compatible receivers include models from Falcon, Kulp, and Experience Lights, and a differential receiver specifically designed for the Quad Plus is also available for purchase.

Key Features
What sets the Wasatch Quad Plus apart is its native Ethernet support for WLED, enabling smooth, high-frame-rate pixel displays without lag or delays. Unlike dig-uno or dig-quad boards, Ethernet is built in at no additional cost. With 4 local outputs and 4 differential outputs, this controller can manage up to 8 separate LED strings. It is currently the only pixel controller that natively runs WLED while offering differential output capability.

Power Specifications
Designed to supply both power and data directly to connected pixels, each port can handle up to 5 amps. In most setups, a separate power distribution board isn’t necessary unless additional power injection is required.
